Truckee Chamber Hosts May Meeting on Land Access and Forest Health

The Truckee Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them for May’s Good Morning Truckee, a community forum that provides relevant and timely information on various topics. This event will feature presentations from esteemed speakers who are actively shaping the future of Truckee’s forests.

Speakers at Good Morning Truckee include John Svahn from Truckee Donner Land Trust, Jonathon Fisher from the National Forest Service, and Stacey Caldwell from the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Forest Futures program. These experts will provide valuable insights into forest health and land access in Truckee.

Good Morning Truckee is held on the third Tuesday of every month at Truckee Town Hall from 7:45-9:15 a.m. It is open to the public and offers both in-person attendance and a recorded version for later viewing. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., with the program starting promptly at 8 a.m. Ticket prices are $10 for Truckee Chamber members and $15 for non-members, which includes a continental breakfast and coffee donated by Mountain Brew. In 2024, attendees are encouraged to bring a business card for a chance to win a door prize.
