It was an afternoon of pure joy for the Nokomis softball team as Mia Coots struck out 13 batters in a one-hit performance, leading them to a 10-0 victory over Winslow. Her younger sister, a freshman, was behind the plate catching for her. This season has been one they have both been eagerly anticipating and they are thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.
