Royal Caribbean has just launched two new and impressive mega-ships, Icon of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas. I was fortunate enough to stay in both of their balcony staterooms, and while there was a $130 difference in price per person per day, the experience was not necessarily reflective of that gap.
While the pricier cabin on Icon looked more modern, it lacked functionality and comfort compared to Wonder. This demonstrates that it’s not always about the cost when it comes to finding the perfect cabin for your needs and preferences while cruising with Royal Caribbean.
Staterooms with private outdoor spaces are highly sought after by cruise passengers, allowing them to enjoy the sea breeze from their room. However, guests need to be careful when choosing their cabin as not all cabins with balconies are created equal. With careful consideration, guests can find a cabin that meets their needs and preferences without breaking the bank.
