On May 2nd, GreenSeam will be hosting a workshop at the St. James Golf Course in St. James. The goal of this workshop is to connect ag-related businesses with the resources they need to start or grow their business locally. Attendees will have the chance to expand their network, connect with community leaders, and gain valuable tools to take their business to the next level.
The workshop will feature a variety of speakers and panelists who are experts in their fields. University of Minnesota Extension Educator Neil Linscheid will be speaking about critical variables for business success in the county. Jeff Stamp, inventor of the Lays Baked potato chip and professor of entrepreneurship at the U of M, will share insights on the six problems all entrepreneurs must solve. Additionally, a panel of local business success stories will be presented, featuring companies like Romsdahl Companies, Winegar Inc, and Berry Pallets.
After the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a work session where they can ask questions, access regional resources, and connect with the local Economic Development.
