German army leaders are currently developing plans to support American soldiers and their tanks as they move towards NATO’s eastern front. The Red Cross will provide medical assistance and food services will be provided by civilian catering services, according to General Bodemann. He emphasized the importance of civilian contributions in this process, mentioning that civilians would be responsible for feeding and refueling thousands of soldiers and tanks.
