Karel Davis, from the Wichita County Public Health, joined us in the studio today to talk about their upcoming Public Health Fair. The event is set to take place on April 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. at 1700 3rd street, across from the waterfalls.
The theme for this year’s fair is Super Heroes, Super Health and attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero. With over forty community partners participating, there will be plenty of booths offering giveaways, education and activities for all ages.
Animal services will also be present to waive adoption fees and offer free microchipping for Wichita Falls residents. In addition to the various organizations participating, there will be games, scavenger hunts and other fun activities for attendees to enjoy.
This event is completely free and open to the public, so whether you’re young or old, make sure to bring the whole family for a day of entertainment and education. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn about health and wellness in a fun and interactive way. Copyright 2024 KAUZ. All rights reserved.
